PerioProtect™ allows you to supplement your in-office care of periodontal disease with home care.  The system employs specially designed trays that allow you to administer medications prescribed by Dr. Hale to the gingival crevices/pockets.

To begin, precise impressions of your mouth are taken and sent to a registered dental laboratory where customized trays are fabricated. These trays allow the medications to reach deeper into the gingival crevices, or periodontal pockets, allowing more comprehensive treatment.

The PerioTrays® used in the PerioProtect™ system have been approved for use by the FDA, but there have not been extensive clinical trials done to prove the effectiveness of treatment with these devices.
